One can now rank their site higher and increase traffic on it by following Google webmaster guidelines. These guidelines are designed to help you increase your business and to promote your product or services. The Google webmaster guidelines have been categorized in two different aspects such as:

Content and design guidelines: Whenever you make a site you need to be very careful about its deigning and content used in it. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link. You can create a useful and informative site and link it on a given page to a reasonable number. Moreover, it is important to provide text to provide important information instead of images including names, contents or links etc. Make sure that title is effective and can easily by searched by all viewers.

Technical guidelines: To examine your site you can use a text browser such as Lynx. With its picture features such as cookies, JavaScript, frames, session IDs, DHTML or Flash keep you can see your entire site in a text browser with much appeal and then search engine spiders may have trouble crawling to your site. Make sure your web server supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. With the help of this feature your web server to tell Google whether your content has changed since we last crawled to your site. Moreover, you can even monitor your site’s performance and optimize load times. It will provide you all relevant and factual information that will improve overall quality of the website and overall speed of the web will get improved.
