2. Many SEO give more preference to Meta tags rather than title tag. Actually, title tag is the most important place to have keywords. This affects your search results as page title does not exist when you ignore this title tag.

3. Flash website is attractive but not to the search engines spiders and also search engine not able to index it. If you are making a flash website to attract user, then it’s better for you to make an html version along with it, so that search engine can easily read your website.

4. JavaScript is another form of common mistake done by SEO. If you are using JavaScript in your website, then you have to build a site map and you can also build a no script tag. If you have doing this, then search engines spiders will easily crawl you website.

5. Back links are very good but many SEO resort to the practices of collecting back links through link farms which could get your site banned. One thing you have to remember that always try to make quality links rather than quantity. It’s the quality that counts in the end.

6. Now days search engines give more preference to content rather than Meta tags. Many SEO, write the content without Keywords. So, always try to make content along with keywords.

7. When you are making URL of the website, always define the keywords in the URL. Some SEO dine the URL without any keywords. Keyword in URL is more important in Yahoo and MSN but Google also gives preference to it when the relative weight of keyword is high.
