If you are not thinking about this, you require to get started, and if you have begun, how is it running?
Google appears to be at a crucial moment in time with it’s penalizing sites with paid links, and almost continuous shifts to the algorithm that turn the SERPs a guessing game just about daily.
So what are you doing now to ensure that your site carry on should it be hit by a Google penalty? You may be ranked very well today and earning huge profits from the traffic that Google sends to your site naturally so what if they flag your site for some merited or un-merited form of spam?
With plenty people gaming the system, no need to get surprised with Google lashes out at the SEO community on occasion. We are the ones encouraging them to give more applicable results while at the same time doing things that some would raise query on a moral level.
The actual point is that Google carry a ton of traffic. But the web is really big, and Google is not the be all and end all. You should be continuously hunting for other methods to carry out traffic to your site like:
Be active in forums – give true respond to questions without making effort to sell our product or service as an alternative, reveal your expertise in your replies and people will understand that what you say is commendable, and in turn will use your product or service when they are all set.
Write articles- I know it’s quite old and annoying and boring, but like the first point, it’s a brilliant way to not only display what you know, but it bring out your writing style. There are few people who will read you not for your content, but because they like the way you lay down things into a great viewpoint. Do not undervalue that.
Ask for help – I know many people have problem with this, but when my car breaks down, I have no trouble calling a mechanic. Use this same method on web. If you require assistance to solve such a problem take out advice of the people who can help you. Several times in that procedure there is an exchange of information that leads to a deeper and real relationship that is leverage that for links!
Tell them what you think - This relates to blogs, forums, articles and email responses. Why act as if something you are not? Like is too short to pussyfoot around and to be driven benefit of by other people.

Some excellent points. With the whistle-blowing incentives that Google has set up, I wouldn’t be surprised to a scrupulous individual blow the whistle on sites that have done nothing wrong in hopes of gaining a higher ranking in the SERPS.
Noone should be relying on Google alone for traffic.
Keep up the good work.
