search-engineIf you asking a stranger for direction, he will tell you one to two answers. In last, you have to choose which way to select. In the same way, when we type something into a search engine, they will generate result related to the keyword; we assume that the search engine knows what we are seeking. Sometimes we are not getting the desired result because we are seeking something else but we type something else that is because a computer can only do what we tell it to do. That’s we are not getting desired results. Remember one thing when you’re searching; be sure what you are looking. The Search Engine’s entire existance is to provide relevant and specific results to you.

If you have noticed one thing when you’re searching for a singular or plural, it will show you different results. For example, if you type “payday loans” Google will show you near around 2 millions pages but if you type “payday loan”, it will display 4 million results or if type “paydayloans” it will display something else.

Now the question is how this does happen? This will happen because they are programmed to try to deliver the best result related to the keywords. Through a complex algorithm, they mathematically determine which page has the most relevant content. This algorithm is for every possible keyword.

Now the next question is how can I rank for all of my similar keywords? There are many factors used in determining keyword relevancy is proximity. As we mentioned above, the different ways it can be spelled. In this case, a search engine will determine that the keywords that you used in your page must be relevant to respective page. There are many other factors involved, but for the sake of this discussion, that’s all we need.
